As entrepreneurs, we want to make all of these great things happen, but we feel like we just don’t have the time. So, we put things on hold, things that are important to us, hoping that someday we can make time for it. It’s true, we’re busy, but there’s actually a super easy secret to achieving your goals. In this episode of Owning the Edge Podcast, we’re going to be talking about how to stop putting things on hold and start making use of the small number of minutes that we do have.
We have all these big goals. Huge things we want to achieve.
But we have this tendency to stop making sure that the minutes matter.
We trick ourselves into thinking that if we can’t do the whole thing, we don’t do anything. I can think of several times when I just didn’t have the time to do a full workout, so I just didn’t do it at all.
We need to remember that it’s the pieces that make the whole thing happen!
Those little things, those five to fifteen minutes in between things, can really change our lives.
Think about it; a person who puts something on hold until they have the time to focus on it entirely might be waiting indefinitely. But if you just start taking action and doing little segments each day, you’re going to be SO FAR AHEAD of the person who put it on hold.
I want to challenge you to take a minute and think about things you really want, whether related to your business, relationships, or health.
Now think about what is the smallest thing that you could do to move towards that.
It may only be 5 or 15 minutes a day, but it can really build up and make a difference in your life.
Two to three times every day, I take a deep breath and remind myself why I’m doing this and who I’m doing it for.
Take time to tell your partner, friends, team, and family just how much they mean to you. You’ll see your relationships grow to such a deeper level.
These things are SO LITTLE, but you can really see their incredible impact.
